Outings and Concerts
Play and have fun contribute a number of positive factors to children’s development including being independent and developing self esteem. We recognise these factors are important and incorporate outings and concerts into out child development programme in addition to the day to day and structured practical activities.
Play
-
allows a young child to be in charge;
-
helps children learn about the world they live in;
-
builds self esteem as children play at something they know they can do well;
-
builds social skills as children playing with inanimate objects practising their interactive skills and later develop this into playing with other children, learning to share, assert themselves and empathise with others;
-
helps with language development,
-
allows children to grow beyond their years, and
-
much more….
Our child development programme includes several outings and yearly concerts to motivate the children to gain knowledge of different environments, social and performing skills enhancing confidence and self esteem. Recent trips included Jasksons Lane Theatre, Stoneyfield Park, Gibbs Green, 2012 Summer mini Olympic , 2012 Christmas concert, 2013 Summer Sports day, and 2013 Summer end of the year concert. Our photo gallery on the website has captured the enjoyment experienced by both our children and parents!
